CSOs Partnership Fair Successfully Concluded in Malta

Representatives of 20 leading European and Mediterranean organizations met in Malta last March 2018 for the ‘Partnership Fair for Civil Society Organizations in the Euro-Med Region.’

The participants discussed the various means for cross-boundary cooperation as well as the available opportunities for the implementation of international projects of common interest.

Several themes for possible joint programs were proposed, including, but not limited to, Gender, Civic and Political Engagement, Human Rights and Government Accountability, Global Sustainable Development and Building Capacity of Civil Society Organizations.

In addition to a steering committee, different working groups have been created in order to follow up on the Fair’s outcomes and achievements, and to carry on with an active alliance vis-à-vis the numerous challenges facing the region.

This event is organized by SKOP Malta and funded through the Voluntary Organizations Project Scheme managed by the Malta Council for the Voluntary Sector on behalf of the Ministry for Social Dialogue, Consumer Affairs and Civil Liberties.
