The 2016 Department of English Postgraduate Symposium will be happening next Friday and Saturday at the Intercontinental Hotel. This year the theme is ‛Transgressive Textualities’, and it’s shaping up to be a rather good event.
Besides around 30 papers by local and visiting postgraduate delegates, there will be three keynote speakers: Dr Michael Greaney (Lancaster), Dr Avra Sidiropoulou (Open University of Cyprus) and Dr Mario Aquilina (Malta).
There will also be a special academic roundtable discussion about the theme of ‛transgression’, featuring Prof. Frank Camilleri, Dr Adrian Grima, Dr Kathrin Schödel and Prof. Clare Vassallo.
