Last week I was at the University of Oxford, St. Anne’s College, to give a keynote speech at a highly engaging conference on Minding Borders. Thanks to all the team for the invitation and for making this conference such an important momentof reflection on borders.

My talk dealt with Borders of the Imaginary, Imaginary Borders in literature that deals explicity with the Mediterranean.

The conference was organised by the Oxford Comparative Criticism and Translation (OCCT) Programme –http://oxfordcomparativeliterature.com/conference/

The programme has a Facebook page here:https://www.facebook.com/CompCritOxford
